Despite unimaginable pain and loss this year, we are being called not only to survive, but to THRIVE.
We need safe spaces to breathe, to feel understood, to support and be supported - without having to explain or defend ourselves. To simply, BE.
In these spaces, we can connect through true, authentic, heart-level sharing.
And the fact is, it is through authentic connection that humans not only heal, but grow and thrive.
We need each other - hearts opened, hands outstretched - so we can deepen our individual and collective roots, turn our light brighter, and show up fully.

ROOTED is my (no-cost) offering to support Jews and our loving allies.
It’s a place to connect, receive support, and be in community.
My intention is to hold ROOTED several times a month, with different themes and topics.
This week's session is on CULTIVATING COURAGE in the face of the unknown, in the face of so much hate, and in the face of an existential crisis.
Each session will be a combination of teaching, discussion, and sharing; and will be 60-75 minutes in length.
WHO IS KAREN (and why should you consider joining her)?
For almost 30 years, as a psychotherapist and coach, I have guided (mostly) women to come home to themselves: to tap into their truest essence so they can be their most authentic self in the world and live the life they are uniquely here to live. I have been running groups, workshops and retreats for years.
When October 7 and its aftermath happened, I was taken into a dark spot of deep grief and pain, which had me questioning everything (sound familiar?).
I let go of a lot: clients, programs, friends…well, a lot.
And in tending to my grief, something powerful happened; Not only did i become further connected to my lineage, my tribe, and ultimately, my self, the grief also nourished a fierce commitment to serving the light that lives inside of us.
I want every single one of us - Jews and our allies - to deepen our roots, brighten our light and show up in the world in our fullest, truest expression.
